Getting to CHS Field

Getting to CHS Field

IMPORTANT TRAFFIC ALERTS:

  • Beginning on Mon, April 17, the ramp from eastbound I-94 to northbound McKnight Rd. (the loop) will close for approximately two weeks. The detour for this closure is eastbound I-94 to Century Ave. to Hudson Rd. to northbound McKnight Rd.
  • If you’re traveling on I-94 between St. Paul and Maplewood, you’ll encounter major traffic changes on the interstate while construction is taking place until late fall.
  • Phase 2 of the Jackson Street reconstruction project will resume on Monday, March 20 and will last through the summer. The City of Saint Paul will post detours to keep traffic moving and ensure motorists are able to get to work, businesses and schools. Cross streets along the construction corridor (between 7th Place and 11th Street) will remain partially open with only a few exceptions for short periods of time.

Big construction projects in the Twin Cities metro area this year include:

  • I-94, Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center
  • I-94, St. Paul to Maplewood
  • I-35W/Lake Street in Minneapolis
  • Hwy 169
  • I-694 in Arden Hills, Shoreview, Vadnais Heights and Little Canada
