JOE WIENER
(PA Announcer)
|
Joe is very excited to return to Midway for his seventh season with the Saints, and second as P.A. Announcer. Joe has been a working actor in the Twin Cities for the last ten years, appearing with the St. Croix Festival Theatre, Walking Show, the Scrimshaw Brothers, the Minnesota Shakespeare Project, Teatro del Pueblo and many more. He can also be seen on TV or heard on the radio in various commercials. He lives in Minneapolis with his wife, his son and his son's toy trains. |
|
ANDY CROWLEY
(Music Man)
 |
On his cat bird seat at the top of the stands on the third base side of the press box, Andy Crowley has the perfect vantage point to bang out tunes appropriate for any hitter, pitcher or situation. His musical choices make the fans dance in the aisles and sing at the top of their lungs. The festive attitude make players relax on the diamond and that relaxation enables them to play better, leading the team to a championship in 2004, Crowley’s second season with the team.
When Crowley isn’t at Midway Stadium he has his finger on the pulse of the music scene in the Twin Cities. He has been a keyboardist at Comedy Sportz TC since 2001 and the house pianist at Nye’s since 2006. His music career was put on the map with the band Fat Tuesday in the 90’s (if you go on you tube you can find some of their videos).
Crowley lives in St.Paul with his wife Danielle and daughter’s Edith, Olive and Agatha.

JAMIE ZUEL
(Super Fan)

|
Yes, Super Fan has a real job and a real name however, those are his real clothes. Jamie Zuel is in his fifth season as the Super Fan for the St. Paul Saints. You can catch him running around Midway Stadium getting the crowds excited by doing push ups for every run scored or through large group cheers like the “Rollercoaster.” Yes, that’s right, if you come to a game with the Super Fan, plan on going on the ride of your life!
During the year (off season), he works as a retreat director for a small non-profit called Youth Frontiers (www.youthfrontiers.org). They are committed to working with schools to improve school climate and build student character. KRISTOFFER
OLSON
(The Nerd)
|
Kristoffer Olson is The Nerd. Or maybe The Nerd is Kristoffer Olson. Make all the jokes you want, it is obvious he is having a blast. Fans love his awkward dance moves, quirky baseball cheers, and just plain talking to The Nerd, as he rarely breaks character during a game.
Entering his second year with the Saints in 2008, Kristoffer is no stranger to making people laugh. He has studied improv comedy at Duddley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop, and once secretly audited a comedy class taught by NPR’s Garrison Keillor. If you don’t see him at a game, chances are he is still making people laugh somewhere. Kristoffer’s full-time job is as a comedy magician. He performs over 150 shows per year for colleges, corporate banquets, fairs and festivals. For more information about who The Nerd really is, visit www.KristofferOlson.com. |

TRACY FUNT
(Mrs. Stepford)
|
Mrs. Stepford is the dutiful housewife. While looking my best in a 1950's styled dress, I'm always ready and willing to serve, wanting to make sure everyone is happy, and having a good time. I am very excited to be back for a third season. I'm always concerned about whether or not the players have starched their uniforms for good luck.
This summer, I will officially become a "Mrs.". When I am not ushertaining, I am busy working as a 7th grade Language Arts teacher, as well as a theater teacher. I direct four productions a year at Oltman Jr. High in St. Paul Park, as well as assistant direct the musical. I know both Guy Tracy and Maddy the Newsie from working with both of them at CLIMB theater. I also have performed in the Minnesota Fringe Festival. I will be producing a show appropriately written with teens, and for teens and adults in this upcoming summer's Fringe Festival. I am a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in English/Speech Secondary Education and a minor in theater.
