The Saints offense pounded out a total of 41 hits in the three game series, but 38 of them were singles. The only extra base hit on Sunday was Jim Rapoport’s double to lead off the game, extending his hitting streak to a career tying high 11 games. Rapoport has now led off five straight games with a base hit and led off seven straight games by reaching base safely.
