Getting to CHS Field

Another First, Saints Rained Out At CHS Field

ST. PAUL, MN June 14, 2016

The impressive streak finally came to an end at CHS Field.  The St. Paul Saints had played 59 straight regular season home without being rained out.  That streak came to an end on Tuesday night as Mother Nature became one of the few opponents the Saints couldn’t defeat at their award winning home as the game between the St. Paul Saints and Sioux City Explorers was postponed due to rain.

The two teams will play a doubleheader on Wednesday night beginning at 6:05 p.m.  Both games of the doubleheader are scheduled for seven innings with game two beginning approximately 30 minutes at the conclusion of game one.  The Saints will start RHP Robert Coe (3-0, 3.16) to the mound in game one against Explorers RHP Dylan Rheault (0-0, 2.35).  In game two the Saints will go with RHP Cody Scarpetta (0-0, 4.26) against Explorers RHP Ryan Zimmerman (2-2, 7.06).  The first 1,000 people in attendance will receive Aviator sunglasses presented by Hamline University.

Fans with tickets to Tuesday night’s game can exchange their tickets, in person at the box office, for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any regularly scheduled home game the rest of the season.  Tickets are based upon availability.

The Saints will hold on to all tickets left at the Will Call window and fans can go to the box office and give their name to have tickets exchanged for another game.  For more information please contact the box office at 651-644-6659.

Both games of the doubleheader can be seen on the Saints Cable Network, cable access channels in and around the Twin Cities area, and can be heard on Club 1220 KLBB.
