Getting to CHS Field

CHS Field Opens Its Gates For July 4 Extravaganza

ST. PAUL, MN July 2, 2017

Fans that didn’t have an opportunity to catch the St. Paul Saints July 2 Independence Day Celebration with Post-Game Food Truck Rally and Fireworks Super Show will have another opportunity.  The St. Paul Saints, in conjunction with the City of St. Paul, will open the CHS Field gates for a free July 4 spectacular.

What better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than with friends, food, drinks, a movie and capping it all off with fireworks.  Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for the free event and patrons can enjoy food and drink.  Then get ready for a movie featuring Saints Team Psychologist, Bill Murray, in the classic Space Jam.  Fireworks will begin at approximately 10:00 p.m.

Those coming to the July 4 event may bring blankets, but are not allowed to bring chairs, coolers, outside food and beverage, fireworks/sparklers and firearms.  All are welcome to place their blankets on the outfield grass to take in the movie and fireworks.  For those that want a comfortable stadium-style seat the main seating bowl of CHS Field will be open to everyone.

Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation to get to CHS Field. The Green Line Light Rail stops at Union Depot, just two blocks from the stadium. If public transit is not an option, Lowertown has plenty of off-street parking options near the stadium, as well as official CHS Field parking.

PLEASE NOTE: Because of the proximity of Holman Field (Saint Paul Downtown Airport) to CHS Field, fireworks will only be viewable from within the stadium. Fireworks will not be viewable from Mounds Park, the Saint Paul Cathedral, Harriet Island, or any surrounding downtown parks and bridges.
