Mound of Trouble, Saints and AirHogs Postponed Due To Unplayable Conditions

ST. PAUL, MN June 5, 2017

The St. Paul Saints and Texas AirHogs were postponed on Monday night due to unplayable conditions.  Rain over the last two days made the area around the pitcher’s mound on the turf field a sloppy mess.  With the area unable to dry out the game was postponed around 7:25 p.m. and the two teams will play a doubleheader on Tuesday beginning at 6:05 p.m.  The two games are scheduled for seven innings and game two will begin approximately 25 minutes at the conclusion of game one.  The Saints will start RHP Ryan Zimmerman (1-0, 0.00) in game one and RHP Jason Creasy (1-2, 5.40) in game two.  The AirHogs will counter with Tyler Bremer (1-0, 1.04) in game one and RHP Carlos Contreras (0-1, 4.70) in game two.  Both games can be heard on Club 1220 KLBB.
