Playoff Baseball Left All Wet, Game 1 of Division Series Rained Out

ST. PAUL, MN September 7, 2016

The excitement of playoff baseball was left all wet on Wednesday night at Shaw Park as Game 1 of the Division Series was washed out due to rain.  The St. Paul Saints and Winnipeg Goldeyes will now play Game 1 of the Division Series on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. at Shaw Park.  The teams will lose the travel day on Friday and instead play Game 2 on Friday, September 9 at 7:05 p.m.

 

          The rest of the schedule stays the same with the Saints hosting Game 3 on Saturday, September 10 at 7:05 p.m.  Game 4, if necessary, is on Sunday, September 11 at 5:05 p.m. with Game 5, if necessary, on Monday, September 12 at 7:05 p.m.

 

          The Saints will send RHP Mark Hamburger (12-6, 3.29) to the mound in Game 1 against Goldeyes RHP Mikey O’Brien (10-4, 4.34).  The game can be heard on Club 1220 KLBB.  Game 2 of the Division series will now be heard on BOB FM instead of Club 1220 KLBB.
