Rained Out Again, Saints and Goldeyes Slated For Four Games In Next Two Days

ST. PAUL, MN August 15, 2016

The St. Paul Saints and Winnipeg Goldeyes had their July 20 game washed out in the second inning with the Saints leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second.  The next time the two teams met, on Monday night at Shaw Park, they were scheduled to resume that game and then play a regularly scheduled seven inning game.  Mother Nature picked up where she left off on July 20, however, and both games were washed out.  What that means is the two teams will play four games over two days.

 

          The Saints and Goldeyes will play the July 20 resumed game on Tuesday beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the Saints leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second.  That game is scheduled for nine innings.  The regularly scheduled game will be a seven inning affair beginning approximately 30 minutes at the conclusion of the resumed game.  The two teams will then play a double header on Wednesday, both scheduled for seven innings, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with game two beginning approximately 30 minutes at the conclusion of game one.  All games can be heard on Club 1220 KLBB.
