ST. PAUL, MN (May 21, 2013) – During this Memorial Day weekend as the nation honors the men and women who lost their lives while defending our country, the St. Paul Saints will pull out all the stops during the weekend homestand.  From fireworks, to honoring our country’s finest, the final homestand of May will feed every fans hunger for the good old U.S.A.

The three game homestand against the El Paso Diablos kicks off on Friday night, May 24 with a 7:05 p.m. game.  It gets started with a bang on Xcel Energy Friday Night Fireworks.  Following the ballgame, the night sky will be filled with sparkling colors and loud noises with one of the most popular fireworks show in the Twin Cities.

On Saturday, May 25 at 7:05 p.m. it is Military Appreciation Night presented by Minnesota Subcontractors Association.  The Saints will don special Military themed uniforms with many of the jersey’s going to the Military families in attendance.  A few lucky fans will have a chance to win the Military themed uniforms through a raffle conducted by the Minnesota Subcontractors Association.  The Stars & Stripes and Minnesota state flag will be presented by the Color Guard.  It is a St. Croix Casino Big Money $aturday as fans can win up to $77,777.

The final game of the brief three game homestand takes place on Sunday, May 26 at 5:05 p.m. with the Return of the Monster Food Truck Rally.  Following the 5:05 p.m. game kids can run the bases and get autographs from the entire team on Savers Family Sunday.  Then the food trucks from all over the Twin Cities will take over Midway Stadium.  You can choose from 15 different trucks: Anchor Fish & Chips, Motley Crews, Tot Boss, Tiki Tim’s, Messy Giuseppe, Nate Dogs, A Cupcake Social, Bloomy’s Roast Beef, R.A. MacSammy’s, Home Street Home, Marie Antoinette Crepes, Tollefson Family Grill, Bacon Trolley, AZ Canteen, and Sandy’s Grill and Italian Ice.  Along with the tasty treats, fans can listen to the music of Jillian Rae.  Your ticket to the game gets you in for free to the Monster Truck Food Rally, but in order to enjoy these delectable treats you must purchase the food although smelling the aroma is free.  To cap off the weekend a Fireworks SuperShow will entertain fans as they roll into their Memorial Day Holiday on Monday.
