Saints Put Playoff Tickets On Sale After Clinching North Division, Will Host Games 3-5ST. PAUL, MN September 3, 2016
The St. Paul Saints don’t have an opponent, but they do know which games they will host in the Division Series of the American Association playoffs. After their win on Saturday night the Saints clinched the North Division and will either host the Winnipeg Goldeyes, if they clinch the wild card berth, or the Central Division winner. In either scenario the Saints will have a better record and have chosen to host game three and, if necessary, games four and five. Tickets are on sale immediately for game three.
Playoff tickets are available for purchase anytime at saintsbaseball.com and during box office hours, Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., by calling 651-644-6650 or at the Saints box office located at CHS Field at 360 Broadway Street. They will also be on sale Sunday, September 4, beginning at noon and throughout the night during the Saints 5:05 p.m. game. The box office will also be open on Labor Day beginning at 9:00 a.m. and throughout the Saints 11:05 a.m. game, the final regular season game of 2016.
The playoffs will begin on Wednesday, on the road, at a semi-final opponent to be determined. Game two will be on Thursday. The schedule for the Division Series is as follows:
Game 1: Wednesday, September 7 @ TBA (Time TBA)
Game 2: Thursday, September 8 @ TBA (Time TBA)
Game 3: Saturday, September 10 vs. TBA, CHS Field, 7:05 p.m.
Game 4 (if necessary): Sunday, September 11 vs. TBA, CHS Field, 5:05 p.m.
Game 5 (if necessary): Monday, September 12 vs. TBA, CHS Field, 7:05 p.m.
Tickets for Games 4 and 5 will be available if those games become necessary.
Ticket prices for the playoffs are the same as the regular season: $5 for berm seating (available only on day of game in person at the box office), $6 for bleacher seats, $12 for the drink rail, $14 for outfield reserved, $16 for infield reserved and $18 for home plate reserved. Tickets purchased on the day of the game are an additional $2 per ticket. Children under the age of 12 and seniors 65 and older receive $1 off the admission price. Children under 2 that don't require a seat are free.
