Getting to CHS Field

Saints Request You Step Up To The Bat For A Variety Of Games As They Roll Into The All-Star Break During July 22-27 Homestand

ST. PAUL, MN July 21, 2016

Come and get Dirrty at CHS Field, we’ll provide the towel to clean up after what’s sure to be a mini-hit of a series. There will be a variety of KAREfully crafted entertainment, so don’t flush away the opportunity to leave the office and take in a game from July 22-27 before the Saints hit the All-Star break.

The homestand begins on Friday, July 22at 7:05 p.m. with a three game series against the Laredo Lemurs, the defending American Association champions. It all starts with a bang as we say Bye, Bye, Bye to the first half of the season with an Xcel Energy Friday Night Fireworks set to the music of Total Request Live. Whether you were team BSB, team N’Sync or a fan of the pop princesses, there will be music to make everyone in the ballpark say Yeah! when we hit Saints fans One More Time with a dazzling display that is sure to have them Crazy In Love.

On the field, the Saints don’t believe in throwing in the towel, so we’re giving it to our fans on Saturday, July 23 at 7:05 p.m. with a towel giveaway presented by Treasure Island Resort and Casino. Visiting the lake, on the beach or at The Lagoon, the first 2,000 fans won’t forget to bring a towel anymore. The tropical theme continues on this night with Treasure Island Saturday.

Wrapping up the series with Laredo on Sunday, July 24 at 5:05 p.m., the Saints will have plenty of little pinch hitters available in the stands after our Mini-Bat Giveaway presented by the Minnesota Corn Growers Association. The first 1,000 fans that swing in to CHS Field will receive a Mini bat, which should be a big hit amongst those looking for a Saints souvenir. Kids run the bases after the game on Family Sunday.

We’ll show how much we KARE about a variety of entertainment when the Sioux City Explorers come to town on Monday, July 25 at 7:05 p.m. for our Metropolitan State University Monday Variety Show featuring guest emcee Eric Perkins and musical act 4onthefloor. After playing for the Saints as part of his “Perk at Play” series when he first started at KARE 11, Perkins rejoins the club for a night as part of the entertainment team. He’ll stretch his hosting time from a sports block to nine innings and participate in a few special in-between innings promotions throughout the night. 4onthefloor will provide the soundtrack, bringing a driving blues influence rock sound that’s quick, energetic and fit.

It won’t be a tearable night on Tuesday, July 26 at 7:05 p.m. when fans roll up to the gate for the Toilet Paper Drive presented by Innovative Office Solutions. The Saints hope they won’t have to wipe out a deficit or flush a lead away against one of their heated rivals from the Central Division. The amazing odor emanating from the ballpark is all because of our specialty food on Mississippi Market Tasty Tuesday.

Sneak away from work for the final game of the homestand and go for gold on Wednesday, July 27 at 1:05 p.m. during the Office Olympics presented by AARP. Trade in the water cooler talk for ballpark banter during the Saints second of four day games. All those memos that have been shot into the waste bin will come in handy when fans get the opportunity to prove their proficiency at trashcan basketball and the paper ream shot put. Enjoy the craziest tailgate of the year that will make the office Christmas party look tame on Walser Wednesday.

There will be plenty of giveaways during this six game homestand because the Saints know fans Want It That Way. The Perks of a Saints game are evident from top to bottom and are worth the Herculean effort of coming to the ballpark from July 22-27.
