For Third Straight Day Rain Postpones Saints, Doubleheader Tuesday

ST. PAUL, MN June 16, 2014

FOR THIRD STRAIGHT DAY RAIN POSTPONES SAINTS, DOUBLEHEADER TUESDAY

 

ST. PAUL, MN (June 16, 2014) – Apparently Mother Nature never wants the St. Paul Saints to play another game.  For the third straight day rain affected the Saints as their game with the Lincoln Saltdogs on Monday night at Midway Stadium was rained out.  The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday beginning at 1:05 p.m.  Both games are scheduled for seven innings with game two beginning approximately 30 minutes at the conclusion of game one.  Tickets from Monday night’s game may be exchanged at the Saints box office for any future Saints regular season home games. The Saints box office is open Monday through Friday 9-6 and Saturday 10-2.  Tickets can also be exchanged on game night.

 

            The Saints will start RHP Anthony Claggett (3-1, 1.45) in game one of the doubleheader against Saltdogs RHP Joe Bisenius (1-1, 3.64).  In game two the Saints send RHP Robert Coe (4-1, 4.62) against Saltdogs RHP Marquis Fleming (3-2, 2.11).  It is Midway Matinee at the ballpark.  Both games can be heard on Club 1220 KLBB.
