Getting to CHS Field

Unscheduled Day Off, Saints and Blasters Postponed Due To Unplayable Field Conditions

ST. PAUL, MN May 30, 2016

The St. Paul Saints will gladly take the night off.  From opening day until June 15 the Saints were scheduled to play 28 consecutive days without a day off.  In the first game of 14 straight on the road, their longest roadtrip in franchise, the Saints and Joplin Blasters were postponed because of unplayable field conditions due to rain throughout the day.  The teams will make it up as part of a double header on Tuesday, May 31 beginning at 4:05 p.m.  Both games will be scheduled for seven innings and game two will begin approximately 25 minutes at the conclusion of game one.  The Saints will throw RHP Robert Coe (2-0, 2.92) in game one and RHP Jeff Shields (1-1, 5.11) in game two.  Both games can be heard on Club 1220 KLBB.
