We've Come To The End Of The Road, The Final Homestand At Midway Stadium August 26-28

ST. PAUL, MN August 25, 2014

WE’VE COME TO THE END OF THE ROAD, THE FINAL HOMESTAND AT MIDWAY STADIUM AUGUST 26-28

SAINT PAUL, MN (August 25, 2014)—It’s the end of the world as we know it, but the Saints are going out with a bang. Come out to Midway Stadium and celebrate the glorious final three games while the Saints take on division rival Winnipeg.

Tuesday, August 26 vs. Winnipeg (7:05 p.m.) 5th Annual Zombie Baseball Crawl presented by Savers—Prepare your zombie survival kit as zombies take over Midway Stadium for game one of the three game series during our 5th Annual Zombie Baseball Crawl presented by Savers. Or, if you prefer, join the ranks of the undead for a night of fun. Whether headed to the Winchester for a pint and waiting for it all to blow over or looking for new brains to devour, Midway Stadium is the place to be. Keep whatever brains you have with you since it’s a Metropolitan State University Tuesday plus craft beer specials.

Wednesday, August 27 vs. Winnipeg (7:05 p.m.) Mudonna’s Moving Van/1993 Mural Lithograph Giveaway (first 1,500 fans)—Ever wonder what luggage a mascot packs? Find out Wednesday at Midway Stadium. The worst part of moving has to be packing things up and moving them out. Good thing Mudonna is popular! See how she handles the big move with some of her mascot friends. Hopefully no one shakes that box marked as fragile! The team is celebrating the move with an Andy Nelson 1993 Mural Lithograph Giveaway to the first 1,500 fans. The mural that has adorned the entrance to Midway Stadium is yours to keep.  Maybe you were one of the lucky people to grace our walls over the years. Come early to join the craziest tailgate party of the year on Walser Wednesday.

Thursday, August 28 vs. Winnipeg (7:05 p.m.) The Last Train to Midway. Go Out With A Bang! Featuring Fireworks Super Show and Monster Food Truck Rally presented by Saint Paul Port Authority and United Properties—This is it! The countdown is over. After this, the magic number is zero. Midway Stadium hosts its final Saints game. Twenty-two years have come and gone incredibly fast, and it all comes down to one final Thursday night. Make one last memory at the historic park where it all began for the Saints. Of course there are fireworks. In fact, what better way to send out Midway than with a Fireworks Super Show and Monster Food Truck Rally presented by Saint Paul Port Authority and United Properties. Plus it’s a Thirsty Thursday. Enjoy $1 beers all game long.

For 22 seasons you have made this the most special ballpark in the country.  You joined us as kids and now you are bringing your children to the game.  It’s been an incredible run filled with laughter, excitement and championships.  Our family has grown over the years and after more than 6,000,000 fans entered through the gates it’s time to turn out the lights.  We’ll see you next season in our new home.
